Malaga City Hotels

Hotels in Malaga

The city of Malaga is the fifth largest in Spain and the second largest in Andalucia, after Seville. Boasting its own international airport, brilliant beaches, a vibrant pavement culture, excellent architecture and a wealth of cultural attractions (including the world-famous Picasso Museum), Malaga is an attractive coastal city that makes for an excellent weekend away or sun-soaked holiday destination on the Costa del Sol.

Malaga’s exceptional location ensures its appeal is enduring and wide-reaching. The Costa del Sol is on its shoulder and so fun and sun-seekers can easily spend a day or two soaking up the culture in Malaga before soaking up the sun in Torremolinos and the booze in Marbella. Some of the city’s more high-brow attractions include its large baroque cathedral, the aforementioned Picasso Museum and the Plaza de la Constitucion, the city’s main square.

Along the promenade, the city beaches are soft, wide and clean, making this a true beach city, while the bustling marina teems with activity day and night. The city’s nightlife is legendary and attracts revellers from all over, while the commercial heart of the city has a fantastic range of shops, restaurants, bars and places of interest that are suitable for all members of the family. Malaga’s airport is situated on the western edge of the city and is perfectly-positioned to offer swift access along the Costa del Sol or directly into the heart of the city.
